Summer is a traditional wedding season, so let me share with your one really charming diy wedding invitation idea. Great for those, who’d like to make invitations with their own hands. And for those, who don’t fancy craft too much, but are on a tight budget.
This is an example of how you can make a unique invitation using as little as some dried flowers, thin silky ribbon and jute twine.
For this card you better choose sheets of thick white cardboard (for invitation itself). Use rose marker to write a text of invitation and wrap it with jute twine. Glue a little flower at the top of the sheet. Put the invitation in the white envelope and wrap it around with dark red ribbon. Tie a bow and glue some dried petals at the side.
You don’t necessarily have to use rose and dark red colors. Choose the colors that better suit the theme of your wedding. I’m pretty sure that if you do everything neatly, then this minimalist and yet romantic invitation will be a pleasant surprise for your wedding’s guests!
